2007 Forks

Recommended Posts

I was reading an article in MXactionmag(Mar issue?), on the 2007 test. I saw, that on the forks, they had put the oil level in mm and not cc`s. Is that a typo? On my 2005 fokrs, I have cc`s, due to the twin chamber ala showa.

I bet that they were measuring the outer chamber from the top of the fork tube with the fork fully compressed,(spring removed). I don't know if the 07 are twin chamber forks, but as far as I know the inner chamber is an airless system so it would have the an outer chamber measurement.

I'm pretty sure you mean they put the oil level in ml and not ccs. Ml is the same as CCs.

On these new forks the oil isn't measured from the top of the fork tube to the oil such as used on the older modles 04 and back. These new twin chamber forks just use a set amount of oil also measured in ml and not mm.
