CRF250r 2007 Suspension

Recommended Posts

I bought a new CRF250 , all suspension set to factory std

I found I was getting lifted off the foot pegs over small jumps,

Checked the race sag and pre load,

I have set the preload to 45mm , and still I can only get 50mm race sag cant release the spring anymore , as it becomes loose , would this mean the spring is too stiff for my weight , even though they say in the specks the bike is setup (spring weight )for my body weight 75 kg or 165 bl

Thanks

50mm!!?? it should be 100-105mm. You know how to set racesag, right? It is the sag the distance from axle to fender on the stand with the wheels off the ground, minus the distance when you are sitting on it.
