whats good oil for my yz250f

Just bought a new yz250f and was wondering what brand of oil is the best and does the yzf have diffrent oil for gears and motor or is it all together

Unruh is going to have a fit! Lots of guys use Rotella. Just engine oil no tranny oil.

More oil discussion! WOHOO! The horse is dead, buried and turned to dust by now, but my two cents says I like the Motul 300V oil but I'm thinking of changing to Shell Rotella after advice from SUnruh.

I just use pennzoil outdoor motorcycle 10w40 and 20w50 when warmer... The stuff protects your engine good and is not very expensive... I change it every 3-4 hours.

Everyone has their own opinion on oils, so whatever you use, just change it often.
