TW vs IRC GP1

I have had both and think the IRC GP1 is a great option. The dirt riding improved greatly and to be honest I felt no difference on the street and have pushed my bike very hard in the turns. The knobbies aren't too big to cause traction problems and they feel a little softer which aids as well. I think they wear faster than the TW and you hear them a little more, but still worth it in my opinion. It makes a very good 50/50 tire.

If you're going to consider the IRC GP1, you might also look at the GP110. Because of the way the lugs line up, they ride better on road, but are at least as good off road, IMHO. I think they are a better option.

I too was looking into the GP1, I've heard that the Conti TKC80 is better both on and offroad and lasts about 5000 miles on most DR650's. Anybody here have experience with both?

I have the IRC on the rear. I do mostly street riding and will be lucky to get 3000 miles out of it.
