2004 vs 2007

I have an 04 450 and I'm going to get a new bike this spring. I have heard that the Yamaha suspension is much more plush than the Honda. I don't know if I should get a yamaha or honda. My real question is how much better is the 07 honda than an 04 as far as suspension and handling? ....does the 07 have a more harsh feel than the 04? ....and if anyone has rode an 07 yamaha and an 07 honda and has an opinion I would like to hear that also.

It's a night and day difference from 04 to 07. Suspension on the 07 is much more plush and with better bottoming resistance. The 07 feels lighter and turns great. I have not been able to ride the 07 yami, but seems better than previous years(on paper).IMO the 07 CRF450 is the best all around bike. It just gets the job done.

Is the only difference from 06 to an 07 the motor? I can a smokin deal on an 06.

Well, I always thought that CR 250's handled awsome til I got tired and then they were harsh. Guess I should just get in better shape.

Hey,

I'm a slow guy and he is right about the Yamaha being better and softer. I have a CRF and I like it only when I'm riding well. The Yamaha 06 450 is a softer ride.
