Carb adjust with new exhaust?

Recommended Posts

I am installing a full Yoh RS3 exhaust on an E model, as well as opening the airbox some. Would it be beneficial/do I need to make adjustments to the carb to keep it running right? It seems that I would, but don't know what I oughta do. 95% of my riding is at or below 1000ft. elev. I haven't made any changes yet since it runs great with the stock exhaust.

As always, I appreciate any info or really funny ridicule...:applause:

You wont need rejet for the exhaust, but you will if cut the air box. If you have already cut it and don't have the jets, just cover up the hole with duct tape untill you have the jets.

Frustration and pain being great teachers, I have learned to ask first. Thanks!! Any suggestions for the re-jet when I do open the airbox? Eddie?:applause:

Get the JD kit for your E and do some searches. The JD kit instructions actually are pretty good too.
