TTR125: footpeg mount/bracket arm bends

Recommended Posts

The used 125 I bought came with a slightly bent right footpeg mount arm. I sledge hammered it back into place and the new IMS footpegs went on nice and even.

Now, one little bike dump later, the right footpeg mount arm is bent again.

Did I see something (aftermarket part) that reinforces the footpeg mount arms? If so, I can't find it now. What are others doing about this? Not dropping the bike? :applause:

A sledge hammer will just weaken it. If you are planning on doing that, have someone weld a gusset or two on it. That's keep it from rebending for a while.

Thanks guys.

I bought and am modding the bike for my girlfriend. She says she feels more comfortable and stable with the IMS pegs. Definitely an improvement over stock. :applause:

This is what I was thinking about:

A couple of company's make footpeg mounts for the DRZ110 and for 50s. But not for the TTR125.
