Recommended Posts

The best you can get is 130 link and look for RK420 SO O-Ring and need Chain Breaker Tool

I picked up a 130 link EK 420 O-Ring chain that seems to be holding up well. Stetched a bit during the first few hours of use, but didn't stretch much more after 2 hours of pretty rugged racing.

EKs are "value priced O-ring chains that don't compromise quality or durability, with such features as solid bushings, solid rollers and high tech heat treated steel alloys."

I think it is rated @ 4300 lb tensile strength

Mine cost about $46.00 and you would need a chain tool to remove a few links to make it fit.

I'm using 122 links for 15/49 gearing.

126 links is standard for 15/56 stock big wheel gearing.

Renthal R1 420 (no-oring) has always been a solid chain on my son's 65. So I have one ready to install once the Renthal Chainring arrives.
