hey, i am new to the world of 2 stroke dirt biking. what should be done to keep a cr125 in good condition. everything you all know would be great...

Purchase a manual.

Rule of thumb.

Have a clean air filter in every ride

Clean oil is best change as much as possible. Every ride is recommended but unrealistic to those that have to pay for other things in life.

Keep an eye on the chain. Don't let it got too sloppy.

Consistent oil gas mixture/stay with same oil

Proper jetting.

Inspect rings and skirts of piston on a regular basis (manual will tell you when)

The first odd sound from the motor Inspect. Cranks go bad on these bikes. Better to make sure your crank is good rather then have it explode and ruin entire motor.
