Area 51 MX

Recommended Posts

Has anyone on here ridden at Area 51 mx park? I will be hitting up Cooperland on April 28th to practice all day and was thinking about making my way over to Area51 on Sunday to practice. Are they open pretty much anytime during the week?

We rode at cooperland a week ago, it was pretty good. We stopped by 51 and it looked like a fun track but it wasn't prepped so we didn't even unload. It was like concrete and would have eaten our tires up for sure. They said they are going to prep it in march. You might stop by the 500 acres. It's pretty fun trails, there are natural whoop sections in the trails that are sweet. They also have a "super cross" track that wasn't so super. Also heard that Guy Cooper and some track members would be rebuilding the track in the next couple weeks. You can buy passes at coopers keys on main st. hope this helped.

Just FYI you have to have a membership just to get into JEEPS.You cant even access the track without it unless someone lets you in.

51 is hard right now, drove by it just a bit ago, they don't groom it often. The 500 is good, can be tough at times, depends on the weather, no rain-sandy and hard packed, Too much rain- slick as can be, mostly clay
