pictures of blown 150r motor

Recommended Posts

If you go to ktmtalk.com in the mini's section under other makes and a guy has pictures posted of his torn down motor with the cam broken and the piston.

The piston looks like one that was posted hear some time ago that hit something. The guy has been taking a lot of heat because he bought the bike and has been defending it. Maybe some of the guys hear who know something about this stuff could go over and help him out.

that is not the same pic you saw earlier. This just happened. And he is taking heat because he has been in everyone's face insisting that 4-strokes never have problems and everyone is just making up stories about all of it. He insisted that no one had ever broken a cam in the 150 because he "works for the largest Honda dealership in the country and we have not seen any" He goes way beyond defending a bike he bought. He has basically denied that 4-strokes are more expensive to own and operate and that they do not have more, and more expensive, engine failures. I guess to him they are not that expensive size is solution to the blown 150 was to by a new YZ85 to use until the 150 is fixed.

He works for a dealership and does not do his own maintenance. It is nice of you to seek help for him but he does not need any. At least not for the bike. :applause:

He's not taking much heat. A lot of the guys are actually giving him props for even posting it. It took balls. haha

Especially after all the BS he has been shoveling out about how the bike is bullet proof.
