06 vs. 07 Crf 230

Recommended Posts

Whats the difference between the 06 and 07 Crf 230? Any improvements in the susp, tranny, etc... Looking to go buy one tommorow and there is only a 300 dollar difference between the two... is it worth it??

Thanks for the Help:thumbsup:

I believe the 07 has a different shade of red and the graphics are a little different. Other than that I think it's the same as the 06.

New color and graphics give you like 3 more hp!

I went with the 06 because there was no difference other than price! :applause:

Yep! $50 & a sticker is the only difference.

Have you done the "Mud mod" to your bike yet for another 3 HP?

I went one step further. Just picked up a new agistat switch, doosle valve, front Johnson bars, and a rear wiffle pin. this bike kicks ass now:smirk:

It's been 4 years since the 230f made it's debut and the only thing they changed was graphics, color, needle in carb and added a brass ring around the fuel screw. I wonder when they'll update the suspension or atleast something? They made the motor so perfect I couldn't imagine them changing it. I think the big reason for the 150's new motor was because of the E-start feature.
