steering stablizer

does anyone have one? what do they do?

they keep the front end from washing out

They add resistance to the steering. This helps in whoops where you might have a bad line and this would cause the bars to yank one way or another. The stabilizer helps resist this. Good for sand especially if you tend to tighten up and fight the wobble as this makes it worse. You need to turn it down the resistance when in the twisties like tight singe track or you will be fighting the stabilizer. It's a helpful tool but used improperly can cause bad handling too.
