Factory R & D P-38 Lighting

Ok,

So I just wanted to post my results of the Factory R & D P-38 Lighting AP cover.

I have a 2005 CRF450R, I live in Colorado at an elevation of 5,280 ft.

I can honestly say that i noticed a big difference in the response of the motor.

The little bog I had is GONE!

I did not change my jetting at all and i noticed a difference!

Is it worth $100.00 (plus air/fuel screw)?

for me it was.

Dude, it's funny but, that cover didn't do a thing for my bike but, Redbeard's AP mod did. It's strange because I live/ride at ~4500ft, my bike's an '05, and I have the Bailey kit as well. A lot of similarities except the AP Mod performance.

I checked out the AP mod but I scared I'll mess up my carb. I'm really not to sure that I know what I'm doing.

Is it easier than I think or should I be scared? :applause:

Its pretty simple to do, I was a little worried about it just reading the directions.

Ok, I'll give it a shot.
