running in sm ???????????

Hi guys im really confused by the whole running in /breaking in thing. Some peolple say to take it easy others say ride it hard. Also I have an rs3 to fit and I am going to do the 3x3 should i wait untill its had its first official service before I do any of these ? Or can i just get on with it.

Dude I have the exact same question. I have an '07 sm and have yet to find any really good, comprehensive break-in procedures other than "ride it hard - change oil early". Good luck. Either way the bike will be fine. Just dont wait till 600 mi to do the maintenance.
