came up short :(

i was riding a awsome track in mesquite nevada practicing for the race today and got a little big headed and went for this double i should not have touched and came up way short right in the uphill of the landing, gave myself a fat lip, sore wrists and a broken ankle :lol: :lol: :applause: yeah so no riding for atleast a month... oh im pissed... i've had many injuries but what do u guys do to jump right back into it? i know after a month i wont be riding all so well

you will most likely be off more than a month with a broken ankle.

Best advice is to heal completely, then take it slow.

Build confidence on riding at 60-70%, SEAT TIME!

once you get your comfort level up, then start pushing again.

I messed up my ankle a year or two ago riding and when i got back on the bike i never felt more comfortable and faster it was weird. Maybe it was cause i hadnt been on a bike in like a month so i didnt know what it felt like to go fast.

If your ankel is broken you won't be riding for 3 months minimum. I'm guessing since you posted today you went to your local ER. You need to go see an Orthopedic Specialists 1st thing tomorrow.

I messed up my ankle a year or two ago riding and when i got back on the bike i never felt more comfortable and faster it was weird. Maybe it was cause i hadnt been on a bike in like a month so i didnt know what it felt like to go fast.

same here when i get back from a long time off the bike i seem to be faster....or atleast i feel faster and better....weird:excuseme:

It probably feels faster because you're not used to riding and the power delivery of your bikes. It is a very good feeling though:thumbsup:
