Desert bars on TTR 250

Anyone out there ever installed the wider taller desert bars on their TTR 250? Just wondered about the cable length.

I'm running YZ highs with the tag risers/adapters and the both the throttle and clutch cable are barely long enough to work. Pics of the set up are in my garage

Hey, Jsanfillippo Hows the power on the 250? Is it a pretty fast bike, been looking at one at a local shop, still new, looks pretty sweet, I know its a four valve, do you know the stock HP?

If you're just using it for trail riding, it'll do fine. The suspension needs work before it'll take a thrashing but thats pretty much the same across the board in this class of bike (XR 250 & DR-Z 250 too). It takes a good bit of uncorking before the bike is actually fun (read sticky) but again that is typical if that class of bike. The brakes are really good though and it turns farily quickly for a fat heavy bike. The bike is in its element in the Woods/Singletrack. The tighter and nastier the trails are, the more it shines.
