Bearing Packer needed? Armorall Water sealant?

Recommended Posts

If they are how much do they usually run? Where from? I've always just done it in palm of hand.

Also I'm using armorall water sealent for the deck on my trailer, is this a decent one to use? How many coats do you usually use with any sealer?

Thanks Muches in advance.

Kevin

IMO, packing by hand is much better than a bearing packer. On my flat bed I had, I used Thompsons water seal.

You mean like this little guy??? http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/NTESearch?storeId=6970&N=0&Ntk=All&Ntt=bearing%20packer&Nty=1&D=bearing%20packer&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&Dx=mode+matchallpartial

The idea behind a mechanical packer is to force grease all the way through, and not leave any dry crevices and to push out any old grease.

Never heard of armorall wood sealant-got a link?
