Quick shock question?

Recommended Posts

I have an 01s and I'm looking into a 03s back shock. On 03 models isn't the S shock the same as the E? So this would be a good upgrade for my 01s right? Thanks for the help, I just can't remember when they upgraded the shock on the S.

I'm also wondering something similar. Are the shocks with blue adjustments newer than 02, and the shocks with grey knobs are 00-01?

PM'ed Eddie the same question and this is what he said:

"any E shock and any 02 and newer S shock."

Thanks again eddie!

No.

The E model shock comes with a 'softer' 5.3 rear spring. The S comes stock with a 'stiffer' 5.5 rear spring.

I asked this same question awhile back and Eddie :applause: told me that any E shock is good unless you want high speed comp adj. '00 and '01 S shocks do not have rebound adj. All '03 and newer shocks have high speed compression adj.
