TKC-80 for TE610?

I'm up for a tire change soon and am considering a change to the Conti TKC-80. Has anyone experienced a set of these on a 610 or similar weight (308lb) bike? I note BMW 650 drivers use them, but they are a bit heavier. cr

i read a dirt magazine where they tested many brands and the pirelli mt21 came out the highest rated for a dual sport bike. i have them now on my 06 te610 and like them much more than the karoos. i have since read that they are the best selling tire in the world for our type of use. frank

I've used the TKC's on my 950 and GS----but am sticking with the MT21 on my 610 now---the TKC's might work for some people---I think they would be less aggresive then say the MT21---but would last longer---pick your poison !!!

I think I'll stick with the mt21's for now. I can use all the help I can get off road. Maybe later, I'll take another look at the Conti's, thanks. cr

Hey BD,

How many miles were the MT21 rears lasting you for the mixed riding in Baja? I'd like to try something different than the Karoo, but I'm not wild about getting fewer miles out its replacement.
