shroud screws,any fixes

one of my shroud screws wont go in,i have heard this is a common problem.know any good fixes?

Assuming your speaking of the BOLT that holds the shroud to the tank....

I use no loctite, and anti-seize grease on the bolt itself.

Once the bolt is in, and snug... I use silicone and cover the head and area where it's recessed so the bolt won't back out.

When you need to remove the tank from the bike, leave the shrouds connected to the tank and remove all as one.

Don't use a longer bolt as it will bottom out in the tank fitting and cause it to spin in the tank. This spinning is the problem most have from over tightening.

thanks,i had to fix the rad after the kid crashed it and the tank bolts were a bitch to get out.his buddys dad was the last one to take the bolts out and put them back in.when i tried to get them out for the repair thats when i had the problem.ive been told i can not re tap them is this true? thanks for the help!
