Dr question

Recommended Posts

Board eligible means the Doc has completed an internship, recieved state licencing, has completed a specialty residency and is in good standing. Most specialty boards have a written and an oral portion. You take the written first, then usually 6mo to a year later the orals. You usually have three shots at each, and if you do not pass, guess what, you redo your residency. I would personally rather shoot myself.

Most board eligible Docs are fresh outa training. This is not necessarily a bad thing.

I agree. After 21 years, I still have nightmares about having to serve my residency again.

LMAO...you went through residency? I thought your old ass was grandfathered into orthopedics! :applause:
