Paddle Tire

Recommended Posts

I've been reading past threads about paddle tires and what sizes. From what I've read, you should use a 6 cup or an 8 cup paddle. There were conflicting suggestions on how many cups to use, 6 or 8.

Because the only 6 cup, 18" paddle you can get is volconized, why not get a volconized 7 cup paddle tire?

?- Why not use a 7 cup paddle? (I weigh 155 lb.)

The number of paddles depends on the size of the bike not the rider. Generally 125 & 250F's run a 6 paddle...250 2 strokes & 450's run 8 paddles and 500's run a 10 paddle. Remember, more paddles means more work on your bike

Get yourself a 6 paddle and run it. If you're hitting the dunes, dont forget to bring EXTRA flags and flag mounts, You'll ALWAYS end up breaking one even if you dont crash

Than I guess it's still a debate over 6 cup or 8 cup.

Do you think I should get a 7 cup?
