Front Fork Question

Recommended Posts

yes but it is cheaper if you can find the COMPLETE front end somewhere. i put a cr 250 on my 97 xr4 and loved it. some will require the puchace of a stem. you can some times have your xr stem turned down if you know a good machinist

Absolutely, find a complete front end (wheel, brakes, triples, etc) from as new a machine as you can afford. I used a 2004 CRF250 and machined the CRF stem down to fit the XR bearings. This is a great improvement to the XR.
