Should I mess with AP?

I have a 2006 WR450 with free mods. It runs good with no bog. I have not done anything with the AP circuit and I am wondering if there is more performance available by doing the AP mods. Should I go for it or not mess with it? I am not sure how fast these bikes are supposed to be. It wheelies in 1st & 2nd, not really in 3rd. Runs out smooth and clean though.

My thought is if it works now it may be capable of accpting more squirt? So I would check and see what it has for a leak jet, then try a few sizes smaller. Example if it has a 70 try a 50 and see what effect it has, if it developes a bog try 60

It had a 50 leak jet so I tried a 40. No bog. It maybe has a little stronger acceleration if I go from no throttle to full all at once. It does feel a little rich and I am getting an occasional backfire when I did not before. I am thinking the fuel screw might not be acting right. Like maybe the 0-ring slipped on its way back in. Could that be?
