Bike almost ready for spring!

Recommended Posts

I have the week off school and have been working hard on this bike to get it back together after being tore apart all winter, and its almost finished! I striped it right down to clean and inspect everything. I ended up replacing all the linkage breaings and shock breaing while I had it apart. I just need to finish up installing the computer and bleed the front brake.

I had the computer since late 2005 and have now just installed it. lol i made some brakets out of 1 inch aluminum angle iron. I think they came out good, just dont like how the throttle cabels rub on the edge of it. I put some fuel line over the cables so they won't get ruined. I think they should be okay.

Shark fin we made.

I fixed the flatland guards AGAIN! I had to cut a notch out of the top so that the triple clamp would stop hitting it. I know it will be much less ridgid but they are so bent now anyways, time to be replaced. Gave them a fresh coat of my favourite colour, flat black. lol

AND i have to throw in a pic that keeps me sane through the winter! PS2 AND MX unleased. (its in the shop when we get the urge while working on the bikes) lol

Pretty excited the snow is almost gone, and only need to wait for it to dry up a bit!

Good Stuff...I have a similar post I'll be putting up soon too! I did tear down, replaced the linkage bearings, got a disc cover, two new rubbers and cleaned everything up. I can't wait to ride it.

What all does the computer tell you? It looks sweet on there!

C-mon spring!!!

Btw...is that a trailer or a garage? It appears to be a small space but hard to tell.
