Another CDI Question.

I've found this "E" CDI..

just wanting to double check it is an E, and not procom junk!

The procom stuff does not have a Mitsubishi emblem...

The last numbers of the middle line ID the model, yours in an E :applause:

71 = K model

72 = E model

75 = S model

S/SM CDI = 10 000 RPM

E/K CDI = 10 500 RPM

I think the Yosh CDI goes until 11500 if I remember correctly.

You'll need to find a older Yosh unit manufactured by Mitsubishi

(NOT the new Procom) and get better valves to go there.

yeah i dont want more top end as i know that will lead to issues was just wondering if there is anything low or mid range that i would gain if i got a e cdi.

Sorry never seen a 73, maybe headster will be able to help.

My SM (US version) had a 74.

Anywho, 71 & 72 are the ones you really want :bonk:

YOSH CDI only goes to 11,000...

It's a Mitsubishi also with the last 2 of 84...

I was going to get it...

but my ebay didnt notify me that it was ending. I checked it last night and it had ended!:naughty:

I fancied it for £16 :p
