Just installed the new spring, hearing a noise.

After I installed one new fork spring and completed the fork, I was tapping on the tube with my hand and could hear the fork spring rattleing a bit more than the fork I havent done yet. The new spring rate is considerably more and I had to really compress it to get it together. I then measured the new spring vrs the old and they are the same hight, but the new spring is slightly smaller I.D.. About .50". I think the noise I am hearing is the spring rattleing against the dampener tube. Is this normal with aftermarket springs? Or do I have something esle wrong? Thanks in advance for any help. KB

Had same problem,it comes and goes but it makes you think did i forget something.But its just the spring moving i guess.

When they are on the bike, no noise. Havent rode it yet. Doing the rear now. I'm sure it will be fine.
