What year is my kx20f ?

Hi guys... thanks for all the info i have already used from this site:ride:

But i need some help on what year is my bike (2005?) . The engine number is the same formatt as a 2004/5 (kx250NE00001) but the frame i cant seam to get match to any year.. The first set of numbers i have are JKAKX250NNA016*** and in the book they say it should be JKAKXMNC5A010001— . This is a UK bike if that helps.....

The tenth digit of your Vin# tells the year. If it's a 5 then it's a 2005.

Use the vin# that is on your frame at the neck of the bike.

On the 05's the radiators extend down a couple of inches further, about 3 n. below the shrouds. That's the main visual difference. Plus the oil filter housing is separate from the coolant cover on the '05.

The easy way is if you have to drain your water to change your oil it is an 04 but if you dont its an 05,
