Dual exhaust

I just saw an xr250 in the back of a pickup. This bike had dual exhaust! Where can I get dual exhaust for my 99 xr400?

I think he's after the muffler on both sides like on the CRF250's.

Personally, I think it might be a fabrication job. Although would love to see what other people can come up with.

I searched Google for XR400 dual exhaust and that was the only thing I could find. But I agree with you that its probably a fab job, would be a cool set-up.

dont know about the for the xr400, but SoCal xr's makes dual setups for the crf150/230

i saw this setup on a 250 dualsport in reno. it is just like the crf250 setup with tailpipes on both sides. from what i understand, the crf250 setup is to allow more air flow without increased noise. the bike i saw was as loud as my 440 with an e-series.

personally, i don't think it would offer any performance gains. you have to match the capacity to bring air/fuel in with the capacity to exhaust spent gases. the xr250 and crf250 are completely different in this respect.
