Bull Run Basin

Well it was an awesome day of riding, could not have asked for better conditions. Was a little worried due to the previous day weather. I rode some of this area about 5 years ago and just hadn't been back. Why, i dont know. If i had finished what i started back then, i would have been hitting this area alot more. Needless to say, but i will be back up there soon. PT, Dan, and JD always great riding with you guys. Thanks for the welcome back ride. ? Well i took a bunch of pics and some vids too. I guess the sound does not work on my vids so this camera will be going back to Best Buy to warranty it.

This was a mile or so out of Evan's. We went up and down this. I got the very last section on Vid. It was very loose, rutted out, steep, twisted and rocky.

My son and I were up at the Eastern Sierr's recently. Rode McMurray Meadow out of Big Pine and then out of and all around Big Spring Campground which is about 15 minutes north of Mammoth Lakes and to the east.

Epic riding areas.

I'm gonna attempt my first Photobucket link so bear w/ me for the pix. I hope they come through.

Thanks skoot22 for the advice. I need to take more pix when my son and I or just I ride. Will post more as more come along with dialog detail. When and if I am ever "finished" with my X, I'll post some pix of it too. I'm going for the U.S.of A "theme" and am numbered 343 in honor of the 343 FDNY ( my cousins are all on the department but somehow survied that day ) who were killed on 9/11. I am commited to honoring their loss of life as I get to go play.

Here is some pictures from Durhamtown in Georgia. This place is KOOL!! I live in central Texas and was there with my family. I also purchased a 2006 CRF450X while there. This is a great place to ride and my new toy is FUN!! The last time I was on a dirt bike was about 2 years ago and it was a CR125. The THUMPER is the way to go. Love it...

I finally had some extra fundage to start upgrading Dear Old Dad's bike when I get slammed with over 3k in hospital bills. So this is as far as I have gotten until I pay off my co-pays. I'm numbered 343 in honor of the 343 FDNY who died on 9/11. Ride red (white & blue ) !!!!

Part three.

The other girls (Hayley and Laura) had noticed a sign for horseback riding with a trail guide. This was too much for them to resist and they HAD to go.

The people running the horseback tours had a little Fawn they were raising.

Let's ride...

Oregon2008048.jpg

The rest of the day was relaxing. We went down to the river where the girls did some swimming, Don caught some fish and Jason and I told ghost stories.

Saturday morning we packed up and left. We drove straight through to SoCal and got home at 2:00 AM.

All in all a wonderful vacation. Sorry to all who couldn't make it. There's always next year...

Oh yeah...my foot...yeah, yeah, Kelli was right.

I broke it.

cool pics:thumbsup: that fawn looks like a decoy ?
