its a very nice peice of machining.very expensive however.the piston is teflon coated and the top plated liek the cylinder.

That's a cool lookin mill. Is this about as close to 1/2 litre as its going to get? I'm looking to get parts like that in Canada. The shipping and duty on import sucks. I just got my TT stuff and the shipping on that was enough.$200 order + ship + $80 cash when it landed. A motor like that in this country is a second mortgage.

I seem to remember a car engine coupled direct to a dyno of some sort 30 years ago at the tech college I went to.
