That looks like It's part of the WBDR. I'm hoping/planning to come down and do that whole route this Sept.
It's a forest road that splits off the wabdr just before chumstick summit. The water pipe coming off the hill is on the wabdr route though, it's worth a stop for a drink!

I did Banks Peninsula (New Zealand) with a few others.  Mine was the second smallest CC bike in the lineup (Smallest was a Yamaha 250)  No disadvantage though.

We started off at Birdlings Flat a pebble beach - lol lots of fun watching fat KTM and Beamers sink.  The chap on the DR650 was doing alright though

I had a great day.  The bike ran flawlessly, we did 192kms all up (119 miles) on 8.91 litres (2.35 US gallons) I averaged 50.6 MPG or 21.5 KMPL which is less than when I'm riding sedately but still good never the less.

Started the weekend and ended the weekend in the rain...but all in all ended with about 650 miles from southern nh to northern nh...the two dirt pics are from the end of each of the logging roads that go to the very top of NH to just about the canadian border on each side of the main rd that splits the top of pittsburg
