Vancouver to Whistler never disappoints on a nice day, but sheer ice only 5k up into the mountains.

Man its been unseasonably cold and IMO you're a better man than me cus I honestly don't thing I could wear enough closes to keep warm just riding on the highway up here ?

As I just PM'd you it's a bit surprising how quick the road gets into the higher elevations on Indian Arm from starting at sea level and there are mountains on both sides so lots of the road only gets sun to warm up for short periods.

Looking at the mountains from my house, I was guessing the snow line was about 2000-3000FT.

Keep in touch and depending on how much snow we get this year, we can look at trying in late May or June 2021.

These were from around May 28 2017 about 10KM from the Valley Cliff parking lot and I turned around at this point cus it only got deeper past the log

Took the Z out for a blat today.  I'm working about 300 miles from home so I have ridden Number 2 Z here (two days ago).  Took a few hours to ride her, weather was fine and I had a good run.  Today was a public holiday and I got Mrs @roleyrev on a plane home.  I have work for the next few days but today I had mostly to myself. So I went for a ride.  The district is mostly high country, we are going into summer so the temperature is around the 15m - 20 deg mark - perfect for riding.  I found a high country road an proceeded along.

The Haines Shoe House, York PA.

My parents took the family there on one of our weekend road trips when we were little.

Correct, it’s only about 15 minutes away from my house and I don’t ever remember going there. Since today was a nice day, I decided it would be a cool picture.

This is on Last Chance Road in the Santa Cruz Mountains between Ano Nuevo state park and Big Basin state park. All of the homes in the area are gone, casualty of the CZU lightning complex fires in August. The really washed out background is the Pacific Ocean. First rain since May last night. Only a drizzle. 475C822A-989F-4E73-B554-A9CE87428309.jpeg.4b306d0b2c2049f0483100f4ad26c50d.jpeg
