How come Wilsons in Fresno charged me ~$500 for set up?! What a rip off

well, I was able to negotiate my 2007 450exc for msrp and no set up or destination charges. Downside was that the headlight was loose and installed upside down (pre-delivery form signed by tech was checked off on headlamp adj), forks twisted in triple clamp and handle bar cock-eyed like the bike was driving sideways. Morale of the story---sometimes you get what you pay for.

Does anybody have specs yet? Is there still a 450 or does the 505 replace?

Thanks

Paul

Wilson's in Fresno is the worst place I have ever bought a bike from in 50 years of buying bikes.

If someone wants a good deal try Palmetto Motorsport in Florida.

Their customer service is great and they do know their stuff.

I got my 07 250 XCF-W for $441 above dealer cost out the door.

hope that helps,

Charles

Certainly makes you wonder what the heck is so different to justify that cost difference.

50cc's and an electric start.

Obviously the 50cc's, that's was a given. What I did not know was that the 250 was getting e-start, and that the 200 was left out. The e-start plus the 50cc's is enough to justify it for me!!

is there no 450 xc?

There's a 450 XC-F that has last year's SX engine, electric start, 18" rear wheel, etc.

The 450exc-r is now a (short stroke motor) imo this was the BIG difference between the old RFS 400 and 450, in other words i think the new 450 will be more usable and KTM possibly/likely has corrected the problem.:ride: I agree with you in a sence that the 450 is to much motor.

Anyone have the pricing on the 300 XC?:excuseme:

Or did they discontinue that one too?

No there's an '08 300 XC...I rode one last week at Glen Helen!

It's 8 lbs lighter that last year which puts it at 212-213lbs.
