PMB spark arrester + stalling?

Is there any chance a newly fitted PMB spark arrestor is causing my '05 WR450 to stall at partial throttle openings or should I be looking at jetting?

Reason I ask is that after fitting a new piston and rings along with the PMB its become a 'mare. Nothing else has changed.

I don't want to remove the PMB after loctite-ing it all together unless I'm sure its down to this.
