Had more than 30 hrs hard MX racing.

Except for wear and tear items (sprockets & chains) only complaint is the skid plate.

06 Kx250F 60 + hrs. No problems. But now have a 450 so 250F is forsale.

had mine two years and havn't even checked the valves, still using the same antifreeze from the factory, a new chain abd two front sprockets, castrol actievo 10 40 changed every 3 rides, still have yet to need a fork seal, would say shes been reliable:ride:

my 06 has been a killer bike. no problems except for a tranny error which we have no clue what caused it. We take care of it very good. Oil and air filter every ride. Killer bike. Were sticking to kawi.

We have an '06 KX250F with WELL over 60 hours on it. It has needed nothing but oil, air filters, chain/sprockets and fork seals.

We also bought two used '04 KX250F's and they are also rock-solid.

I am now riding a '07 KX450F. It only has 8 hours on it but I expect it will also prove to be a reliable workhorse.

121.6 hours on my 06, only adjusted valves once and am still on original piston and rings, i have teared the bike down numerous times including 5 hours ago and have seen absolutley nothin wrong, and like me daddy once said, dont fix nuthin that aint broke. lol

My 06 has treated me very nicely, I have only had to shim an intake and an exhaust valve a couple hours after break in. As long as you take care of your bike you can make it last.

no valve adjustments, just replaced rings on piston-everything was in spec

change oil every 7.5 hours, filter every 15
