Dampers: Scott's or W.E.R.

The WER damper looks like it takes a different approach than Scott's. Any body have any experience with the WER model?

From what I've heard, the benifits of these dampers are in (1) reducing head shake at high speeds and (2) increasing stability over rocks and roots.

Are there other affects on performance that I may want consider before making this investment?
