breaking loose locknut on rear shock absorber

I'm trying to adjust my sag, but I'm having trouble breaking loose the lock nut on the rear shock absorber. Any tricks to doing this other than whacking the S**t out of it with a screwdriver and a hammer? Should I spray PB Blaster on the threads to loosen it up? Any ideas appreciated.

If you have an air compressor, Impact gun works like a charm. other wise, yes, ure PB its prity good, just let it sit for a few and soak in good.

Thanks, PB worked like a champ.
