Red Bud.... crowd????

Man was Red Bud awesome this year. I've been going since 98 and this was by far the best. The weather was great the racing was awesome and the changes to the track were awesome. The crowd was huge it so cool to see the crowds reation to RC as he came around they were screaming and yelling every lap.

Anyway does anyone know how many were people were there??

I heard them say 12,000 plus, but that was over the roar of all of those people, so I could have heard wrong. Seemed like triple that leaving though...

You're right, it was a great, great day for motocross, and I'm glad I was there to witness it all.

Watching the guys blow around the corner on the hillside right after the ski jump... beauty in motion.

I loved every freakin' second of it. Weather was perfect, as was the action. Watching Bubba and RC over Larocco's Leap, both in the air at the same gets no better. Alessi was a surprise too!

It had to be WAY more than that. An average National is around 20,000. They said that was a record crowd(Red Bud record or National record???) I would guess 30-35,000. That is on my list of tracks to go to. I just have to see Larocco's Leap someday.....

Yeah, I definitely thought 12K seemed way low, but I didn't know.

Larocco's Leap is a religious experience. Even better was Mike himself riding around on a quad with his kids hanging off of it watching it on Sunday. I talked to him for a little while, my baby sis got his autograph. I couldn't believe how few people were recognizing him. Shows how many new people we have cycling into the sport, I guess.

Man, that was a good day. I love motocross.

I also agree this year was the best out of the 6 years I have gone fri- sun. We parked next to the motorhome with speakers on top in lot B. The sat. night party was insane, lots of riders came out. The track and racing was amazing. Also the was the biggest turnout I have ever seen.

I think the 12000 you heard was the amount raised in the auction:excuseme:

Did you happen to hear that number right before second moto's?

29,700 is the count i heard

So I have a 2008 yz450f and I would like to add some LED lights to it to make it street legal. Mainly just a headlight and a tail light and turn signals if I need to (which where I live hand signals work).
So where I need help is getting power from the stator to a battery. Wiring from a battery to anything else I got and understand and don't need help with (but recommendations are welcome). So my questions are.
What type of power is coming from the stator. AC or DC? Will I need a regulator or rectifier? How do I wire something from the stator to charge a battery? What would that wiring look like? Would this stator work? Anything else I should know? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

KTM has held a unique record in 250SX since 2011—it’s the only brand to have won in every season. Kawasaki did not win in '15, Honda did not win in '17 (and so far, it has not done so this season), Yamaha had no wins in '13, and Suzuki did not have any in '11 nor between 2014-'17, while Husqvarna did not get any wins between '11 and '15. This consistency also yielded KTM's 40th victory in the 125/250 supercross classes, thanks to Jordon Smith's first win in 2018 at last Saturday night's Daytona SX. The Austrian KTM got its first triumph in small-bore supercross back in 2001, with the South African Grant Langston. The most successful KTM winner is Marvin Musquin, who won 11 times. So far, KTM has collected 22 wins in the West Region, while Smith's win was KTM's 18th victory in the East Region. KTM also took its second Daytona victory; Musquin got the first one in '15.

Have an old book sitting on the shelf and thought I up load some picts.  Waiting for the smoker to do its thing so have some time to kill.
I got this from my so called stepdad, he had a type setting company and I am not sure how/why he acquired it.  I will ask him next time I see him.  Not sure if he did any editing, or it was just a gift to him.  I believe this was done for a Italian mfg, not sure.  Anyway, some cool picts bring back mems.  Excuse the camera it is not the best, most are painful to look at so will only upload a few.

I'm sure some of you have already seen him wearing this kitten stuff but I though It was just on the back of his helmet.   Guess thor persuaded him (or paid him) to put this stuff on.  Or Muskrat is a just a weird guy.
