cr/xr200 converiosn

so i have a 2001 xr200r and the suspenison blows on it and i dont like the it looks either, so i was thinking of taking the motor out and doing a converison on a cr85. i would appreciate if you could tell me how hard this is for a 15 yr old and my dad. we dont have a welder but we have grinders and sawzaws for all the cutting. do you think i would be capalbe of it or am i just wasteing my time. basillcy i need to know everything about and i have using the search too but thanks for all the greast post and everything on here before

If you don't have the right tools, it would be a waste of time. It'll end up to be a hack job. You can buy CRF150F rollers from BBR. They have a little better suspension and more updated looks.

do they bolt right up??

Will a 2001 XR200R engine bolt right into a 150F chassis?

yes they do.

so all the motor mounts any everythimg match? Is there any other things i need to be aware of?

From what I can remember it's a straight swap right down to the carb. You might need to make some brackets for the electrics though.
