getting calif license plate

I HAVE A 2000 WR400. I ORDERED A BAJA KIT,GETTING INSURANCE, AND THE TITLE. IF I GO TO THE DMV IS IT EASY TO GET A PLATE?

I had no trouble getting plates for my '99, but there have been posts on this site about the VIN numbers on the 2000 models preventing them from getting plates.

You can do a search on "VIN numbers" to get to thoses posts.

If your VIN # has a "C" or a "3" in the eighth digit, the CA DMV computer will issue you only a Red sticker, no plate.
