Rubber mat for floor

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for a large piece 5' X 8' or bigger, of rubber mat, maybe with a diamond plate pattern or similar to put on the bed of my trailer. Any suggestions where I could find something like this? Currently I have an indoor/outdoor carpet that doesn't last to long. Thanks

Horse trailers use really nice rubber mats on the ramp door, heavy duty.

He's on the right track-try a dairy supply store-they use rubber mats to keep the cows from laying on the concrete and getting abrasions when they are in their stanchions. These mats are thicker, and cheaper, than the bedliner versions.

if you have tractor supply, or maybe southern states would have em, near you go to one of the two and get these thick rubber mats, im sure you could get em to fit your trailer, and just attach em with screws to hold it down, screws and a washer would hold it down, and they will last probally forever under the use youll be giving.

I suspect the wood flooring on the trailer won't last long covered by a rubber mat.

IF it's treated lumber in sunny California (dry climate) then it should be all right. If it's not treated, or was in FL (or some other soggy state) it wouldn't last 5 years.

I've had the plywood floor on the trailer for 15 years just covered by turf or indoor/outdoor. I treated it(CDX) with Thompsons and its held up. Don't get much rain down here in San Diego
