Road riding all morning on the old FZR:ride:

Back home for lunch.

Dirt riding all afternoon, its not the same without the guys, but no one available on a thursday afternoon.

Come on sunday when its an all dayer:thumbsup:

I had a 94 model Exup RU - Black Frame with the purple wheels, man do I miss that bike! I should have NEVER sold her...

The 1000 is probably one of the best old age Superbikes and I think its the bike that kicked off the Superbike era!

Washed it, lubed and adjusted the chain and cleaned and oiled the air filter. Note to self, don't wait so long to clean the air filter next time. I just got the bike and have ridden it for a couple of break-in type rides in clean conditions. I was shocked at the amount of dirt on the filter. The inside of the carb boot was spotless but this filter get cleaned after EVERY ride from now on.

Stole a nearly stock 05 WR450 for $2000. Came with throttle stop, snorkel, pea shooter, jetted. AIS still installed. Original front sprocket, dirty, slick rear tire, for seals completely shot.

5ish days and lots of beer later.

New front rotor (OEM was bent to hell)

TM Designs chain guide

Dunlop 756 front

Maxis IT rear

Hardline hour meter

Acerbis rear YZF fender

Acerbis front number plate

FMF Q4 (these things always so close to the shock???)

Oil / Filter

New plug

New front/rear 14/50 sprockets

New chain

New fork seals/wipers/fork oil

Skid plate (not mounted yet)

Valves checked (still good)

FLU designs graphics

AIS kit (still in the UPS truck)

Homemade bracket to perma mount the ignition button for the YZ front plate

Home depot ODO eliminator

Various bent/worn fasteners from Bike Bandit

New battery

End results:

Steve,

you've totally forgotten the CB750F's. Those were crazy fast for the time. I'm so stupid for selling mine... (safer maybe, but stupid...)

Anyway, I'm thinking banana seat = old school. heh!
