The guy I bought it from replaced it with a trailtech headlight and didn't keep the stocker, otherwise I would have used it.

hey pismo... when you put the spring on, you have to slide the bumper up to get the collar off to put the spring on.... took me a while to figure that one out.

yeah 1st time its a little hard to get the bumper out of the collar w/o ruining it , good ol WD-40 .:bonk: Still havent got the posting of pics on here yet .

Started my bike up today. It's been setting since last March.

Road riding all morning on the old FZR:ride:

Back home for lunch.

Dirt riding all afternoon, its not the same without the guys, but no one available on a thursday afternoon.

Come on sunday when its an all dayer:thumbsup:

I hooked up my street legal kit... basically just handle bar switch, turnsignals and horn..

i got the DRC kit which was 120 bucks.. i didnt end up using the wiring harnes.... i made my own harness... and just used all the connectors and hardware.

works great!

Now I am steet legal in ohio..

I had a 94 model Exup RU - Black Frame with the purple wheels, man do I miss that bike! I should have NEVER sold her...

The 1000 is probably one of the best old age Superbikes and I think its the bike that kicked off the Superbike era!

Washed it, lubed and adjusted the chain and cleaned and oiled the air filter. Note to self, don't wait so long to clean the air filter next time. I just got the bike and have ridden it for a couple of break-in type rides in clean conditions. I was shocked at the amount of dirt on the filter. The inside of the carb boot was spotless but this filter get cleaned after EVERY ride from now on.

Removed all plastics, cleaned her, repacked the muffler and lubed the chain and filter....

Every day I love more and more this bike!!

Put the Harley into hybernation for the winter and put plates on the WR450 ... yeeha! Driving this dirtbike in the traffic is a blast. :smirk:

Good night Night Train ... see you in April.

Steve,

you've totally forgotten the CB750F's. Those were crazy fast for the time. I'm so stupid for selling mine... (safer maybe, but stupid...)

Anyway, I'm thinking banana seat = old school. heh!

put on 2010 yz250f front fender and a new330-SPROCKETS.jpg
