520 chain conversion

Recommended Posts

I was looking at sprocket specialists website the other night and I noticed the sprockets to convert the xt350 over where the same part numbers as stock for some other bikes. I think the xt250 front sprocket and xt600 rear sprocket iirc. So couldn't you just by replacements for these bikes and a 520 chain and save some money?

Well the 520 conversion from sprocket specialists and comparable from sidewinder are probably better material than other stock replacement makes and models. Not much cheaper buying stock replacement with the Yamaha stamp on it than the conversions.
