KX450 Off Road Gearing?

I have a 2007 KX450. I need to gear up for the desert any suggestions?

Start with 1 tooth more on the front sprocket and see how it goes. I am not sure if 2 teeth more on the front will fit. Adding 1 tooth on the front is like removing 3-4 teeth on the rear.
