Upper Skagit / Baker Lake area

My crazy, retired folks just got a cabin up there and the realtor said there were some riding trails nearby. I spent the day yesterday trying to find them, but with no luck. If anyone has any info for me, please send me a PM. It would be much appreciated, especailly since better half and I plan on spending a lot of time there. Thanks!

There is NO riding in the Baker Lake/Lake Shannon area. All of the trails are all now under the ownership of Sierra Pacific Co. and they don't allow any Motorcycle access to any of the trails. So any off-road riding in the entire Skagit Valley will be illegal (not open to the public).

I saw a couple signs for Sierra Pacific on a couple of the dirt roads I went down, demending permission to pass, so that explains that I guess. Bummer, since the realtor told my folks there were riding trails. Oh well. Thanks for the response. I guess we will have to trek to Walker.

I figured it was too cool to be true.
