looks great. my old xr100 was so fun but i wish it had suspension like yours.

is it just me or does the front brake line look a little short?

yah it is short. good catch, but it shouldnt matter because since im guessing it is an adult riding it, it should compress the forks enough so it wont matter

Wow...awesome bike. I was just looking at your bike in the xr/crf100 forum. Those bikes are so much fun!

Thanks for the comments guys.

My main reason for building it is because our track at our house is kind of in a valley with neighbors around who HATE the noise from bikes of anything louder than a XR100. We have an 06 CRF100 and I really wanted something i could push a little bit harder with some better brakes and suspension, while still keeping it on the quiet side...

I personally think the XR100 has pretty decent power for a play bike and it revs to the moon so that is why i decided to go the 100 route instead of the XR200 route. Plus the weight difference is fairly substantial.

I would have gotten a 150R and the price of this bike came to around 3K total, but I really wanted to do my first fairly big bike build and I'm pretty happy w/ the way it came out!

As for the brake line, the bars fatbar adapters plus an Hawkins Woods High protaper bar bend so that may have something to do with the shorter look to it, it seems to work just fine though...

i love the way it looks, with the front end kinda high. how hard was it to change the engine mounts? what was the hardest part?

DMC did all of the hard stuff, recradling the frame and all of the one off parts so it was really just bolting it back togather.

is it just me, or is one footpeg higher than the other?

nice bike.

Hmmm, it kinda looks like it in the pics, but it feels perfectly normal while riding:excuseme:

Looking to buy a used Beta 2017 500 RRS from outside California.  Can I plate (Register with CA DMV) the bike in CA?  If so what is the best way?  Don't have the money to put down for a new bike from a Dealer in CA.  Any help or sugguestions would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

This continues to be my favorite trail/race weapon!! In our Eastern tight woods, power is not King, handling is. And this thing outhandles them all!!!!
