Those airbox mods are a little extream if you ask me. I have some pics of a good airbox mod and jetting recommendations if you would like.

Ya I have an 07' crf450x, Yosh carbon slip on, jet kit, smog plug kit, acerbis handguards, fuel screw, Twin air filter. I never opened my airbox when I uncorked it. With regards to cutting it. Will it make a huge difference if I finally do?

It did for my bike, I would at least remove the snorkle and cut the top. And remove the metal backfire screen in the air filter.

Here is what i did.

The best way to get the snorkle out of there and that metal bar across the top is to drill it out.

depends how much you cut, but yes. dont cut it if you are bad at maintaining filters since a sandy air boot is bad for the valves:thumbsup:
