XR600R / XR650L rear shock and susp questions

Working on my rear suspension, and noticed that the shock length for the XR600 is .5" longer than the XR650L. This would raise the ride height which would make the bike turn better, but the seat is already pretty frickin high as it is.

- Is the leverage ratio fifferent between the XR600 and XR650L?

- How much higher would .5" length yield?

- Is the swingarm, rockers, etc different?

- Anybody looked into this?



i dont think 1/2 inch higher rear end will help you turn any more besides its already a tall enough bike. Id leave the geometry alone cuz its prolly the best its gonna get. there not hardcore MX racing bikes as is ya know.
